few days ago I launched in preparing a dish "scaldacuore" .. because when it takes it takes, and as someone commented, to the diet then there is always time.
But above all, the beauty of polenta is that it allows - as long as you have the foresight to prepare a bit 'more - then be "recycled" in a thousand ways, the next day. "Recycled" would not even be the more appropriate term would seem to imply that the result is something terribly sad ... pizzettine while these fast-fast, so fast that they can be prepared in a jiffy for a homemade snack, are anything but sad!
INGREDIENTS:
polenta cheese, cold cuts .. and so on and so forth ^ _ ^
flatten the cold polenta on a cutting board, with stencils and cut out the shapes you prefer, in my case, I simply covered with a thin slice of Emmental, but at this point you can give free rein to the imagination: cheeses, cold cuts, why not a spoonful of tomato sauce .... when ready, will make non-stick cooking plate for a few minutes and you're done! ^ - ^
